Class Schedule

We offer tuition in ballet, tap, modern jazz, acrobatics and stage performance at our studios within the Memorial Hall, Dorothy Avenue, Glen Parva.  For the younger dancer, we follow the Melody Bear Movement syllabus.

We also hold an adult tap and ballet classes at the Memorial Hall, High Street, Whetstone on a Thursday evening 6.30-7.30pm.


Melody is a loveable teddy that introduces children to dance through mime, song and story.  They learn lots of new moves in ballet, tap and modern whilst having lots of fun! Click here for more information

​BALLET, TAP and MODERN JAZZ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We are registered with the British Theatre Dance Association and teach their programme of studies which are excellent for all ages. 


The younger dancer commences their journey with preliminary exams, where they begin with basic steps, start to learn about technique and get used to the exam experience. 

Dancers then go on to graded exams which are accredited by the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and are designed to be progressive from grade 1 through to grade 8 enabling students to develop and master technique, build strength and flexibility and enhance performance skills.

Vocational exams are available for those wishing to further their dance training leading to a diploma in professional development.  We also offer teaching qualifications leading to a diploma in dance teaching and management.  They can also gain UCAS points which may help them to secure a place at university - visit BTDA for more information.


In addition to formal exams, dancers can take rose awards, crystal awards and a range of medals designed to build confidence and develop performance skills.


Dancers can take part in our acrobatic classes where they will learn a variety of tricks and balances.  It is a great way to increase flexibility, build strength and develop teamwork.  


The emphasis in these classes is on developing performance skills.  Dancers learn skills in singing, dancing and acting and have the opportunity to take exams in all elements of musical theatre.


An alternative approach to a fitness class providing 30 minutes of tap dancing learning new steps whilst improving cardio fitness; and 30 minutes of ballet to tone and shape.  It has been scientifically proven that dancing helps the brain as you age - it's also lots of fun, so why not come along and have a go.
